Dental concerns I can evaluate

  • Tooth pain or pain when biting

  • A chipped, cracked, or broken tooth

  • A loose or lost filling or crown

  • Swelling around a tooth or concern about infection

  • A dental injury or knocked-out permanent tooth

If you have trouble breathing or swallowing, rapidly spreading facial or neck swelling, or a serious injury, seek emergency medical care immediately. Call 911 for a life-threatening emergency.

What happens at an emergency dental visit?

I start with your symptoms and medical history, examine the affected area, and take dental X-rays when indicated. I explain what I find, the options for addressing the problem, and the expected fees before treatment. Depending on the findings, care may involve a repair, a temporary restoration, further treatment planning, or a specialist referral.

Saturday appointments in West LA

Alchemy Dental’s published office hours are Monday–Saturday, 8 AM–5 PM. Call before coming in so my office can confirm availability and help you plan the visit. An appointment request or text is not confirmation of a reserved appointment.

Emergency dental visit cost

The fee depends on the examination, any necessary imaging, and the treatment recommended. My office can explain the evaluation fee when you call. I provide a treatment estimate once I have assessed the tooth.

Frequently asked questions

Can I get a same-day appointment?

Call to check the current schedule. I cannot guarantee same-day treatment; the timing and type of care depend on availability and the dental findings.

Should I wait if my toothache improves?

A change in symptoms does not establish the cause or show that a tooth no longer needs care. Contact my office to arrange an evaluation.

What should I do after a dental injury?

Contact a dentist promptly. For a knocked-out permanent tooth, the American Dental Association recommends keeping the tooth moist and seeking immediate dental care.
